Function The rebuild kit is designed to replace the worn components in the piston cylinder of the air compressor, including the o-rings on the valve plate, cylinder sleeve, connecting rod, and piston ring. It is recommended to release the air and unplug the air compressor before installing the kit, and a wrench set will be needed for the replacement.

Installation Guide 1. After disassembling the pump head, remove the fan mounting bolt and pull the fan off, then remove the piston and old sleeve. 2. Install the new compression ring on the top of the piston, reinstall the piston cap, and tighten the Torx screw. 3. Slide the piston into the new cylinder sleeve and insert the piston and cylinder sleeve into the pump body. 4. Push the piston connecting rod onto the eccentric bearing, align it flush with the bearing, and tighten the Torx screw to 48 inch-pounds using a torque wrench. 5. Replace the upper and lower valve plate seals, then cover the piston back. 6. Reinstall the pump head mounting bolts, positioning the pump head over the new valve plate with the muffler side of the pump head over the reed valves.

Application This rebuild kit is a direct replacement for KK-4835, KK-5081, and A02743 to rebuild the oil-free air compressor pumps and extend the life of the compressor.
